Introduction
The BA (Hons) Social Science could open up career opportunities in education, the health professions, law, social services, national and international voluntary and campaigning organisations, the media, public relations, public service organisations and government (national and local), the criminal justice system and social welfare organisations. You will be assessed by a variety of coursework assignments. Although we have study skills at level 4 and 5, throughout the course we will emphasise the transferable skills the course will develop, it will equip you to better understand the world we live in and give you the capacity to apply your knowledge and skills in new contexts in everyday life.
