BSc (Hons) Business and Management
BSc (Hons) International Events Management
Following this third year of study, you will graduate with a full Honours Degree from the University of Salford.
You will build awareness of business practices linked to events management. You will study core aspects of business as well as distinct specialist modules in events and hospitality. You will apply your knowledge and understanding to practical projects and the work environment as part of the work based placement module. This will help to prepare you for both the world of work and also for further study. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with planning a wide variety of events delivered at the College’s live music venue, TV studio, radio station and exhibition space.
You will be taught in Salford City College’s brand new centre, FutureSkills, close to the University of Salford’s MediaCityUK campus and a short bus ride away from the Peel Park campus. You will be taught in small groups by tutors with business backgrounds. Although you will study at FutureSkills, you can access all the main University services and facilities such as student life, the library and accommodation.
