Business Improvement Techniques Apprenticeship Level 3

This Business Improvement Techniques Apprenticeship Level 3 is designed for employees that have an important role to play within the business. This is a broad, cross-functional qualification, designed to support the overall effective operation of the business. This qualification enables individuals to develop the skills they need to be able to act as continuous improvement / lean champions within the organisation and lead improvement projects.

Qualifications Included

On successful completion of this programme individuals will receive an ‘Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Improvement Techniques’ certificate including;

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques

Level 3 Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques

Level 2 Functional Skills in English

Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths

Level 2 ICT

Location and duration of training

This Apprenticeship will be delivered on your company site and will take around 18 months to complete.

Course content

This Apprenticeship offers a balance of technical training and on the job assessments to match your organisation’s needs and requirements.

Mandatory units include:

Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements

Leading effective teams

Optional units include:

Applying workplace organisation (5s/5c)

Applying continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen)

Developing visual management systems

Carrying out problem solving activities

Applying flow process analysis

Creating standard operating procedures (DSOP’s)
