This one day Temporary Works General Awareness Training Course will explain; the types of temporary works currently used within the construction industry, how they are used and managed including the different roles and responsibilities of those in the temporary works process as defined in BS 5975:2019.
This course is nationally recognised and there maybe funding available to business owners.

You should attend this course if you are considering, or already have, supervisory responsibilities.
How will this course be delivered?
There are two options:
- This course can be delivered and assessed using Zoom, Microsoft Forms and ClassMarker.
- This course can be delivered in a classroom at one of our venues.
What are the entry requirements?
You must hold or about to hold, the role of a supervisor and must be competent in English at site supervisor level.
Is the course accredited and can I get funding?
Yes, CITB is a recognised awarding body who promote and grant qualifications. You will need to speak to your employee and ask if you or they are eligible for funding.
On Completion of the course what are the next steps?
On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a 5 year certificate and your next steps could be to attend the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course.
