Emergency First Aid at Work

By the end of the course delegates will be able to meet the recommendations laid down by the Health and Safety Executive. Course Content
The course involves lectures and demonstrations which cover the theory and practice of First Aid:

Understand the role of the first aid responder
Know how to assess an emergency situation and act appropriately
Provide first aid for an unresponsive casualty
Resuscitation
Recognise and administer first aid to a person who is choking
Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Recognise and manage a casualty who is suffering from shock
Know how to provide first aid for minor injuries
Certification
On successful completion the delegate will receive a MetTECH UK Certificate of Attendance valid for three years. Health and Safety Executive Number 1005/91
