This includes providing sufficient information, instruction and training to employees to allow them to work in a way that does not put themselves or others at risk.

The Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 2  is ideal for all employees, as it helps candidates develop a greater understanding of health and safety issues and the role that everyone plays in maintaining a safe working environment. Entry requirements
The qualification is available to candidates aged 16 or over.
It is recommended that candidates should hold a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or equivalent to undertake this qualification.
It may be possible to allocate a reasonable adjustment to a candidate who has a disability, medical condition or learning need; candidates should contact us to discuss.

Assessment Information
The qualification is assessed by a written assessment.
Candidate must successfully pass the written assessment to achieve the qualification. There is no grading of the assessment; candidates pass or are referred.
Candidate will complete a written assessment paper containing 20 multiple choice questions needing to achieve a minimum of 15 out of 20 to pass. The duration of the assessment is 40 minutes.
