Introduction to HHSRS – The legal context for your staff

If the HHSRS is not complied with, there is a risk that properties do not meet the Decent Homes Standard and their owners can face prosecution by the local council. This course is useful for any housing and property management staff that are involved in the lettings of homes.

You will develop an unbderstanding of the HHSRS and how it can be complied with for the benefit of tenants and your organisation. You will learn about the hazards faced and consequences of failing to address them, as well as the legal process tenants can follow if their property is not adequatley maintained.

Course are delivered by Zoom online 2 x 2 hour sessions. Both sessions must be completed to form the full course.
