Level 2 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing

Units may include:

• shampoo and conditioning
• cuttng, styling and basic colouring techniques
• theme based project
• salon experience
• customer service.

All students work one day a week in the salon to enhance their customer service and salon skills. Students are encouraged and supported to take part in local and national competitions, including WorldSkills. You will have the opportunity to go on national and international visits. Last year students embarked on a trip to France where they attended product launches in Paris followed by a day at Disneyland. Alongside valuable work experience placements students also take part in a variety of voluntary and charitable activities, including Nurses Day at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Victorious Festival, community events and many more.
