Level 3 Award in Education and Training

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 19 and above.

The qualification provides an introduction to teaching and aims to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as: individuals not currently in a teaching or training role or individuals currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training), individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.

A nationally recognised qualification.

A start in your career as a teacher. You will be encouraged to progress onto the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

How you will be assessed?

Successful portfolio covering all learning outcomes from one mandatory unit and five optional units.

Must participate in either a micro teach or be observed within your teaching practice.
