LDN Network Engineer apprentices develop the skills needed to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation or between organisations.

Apprentices need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. They will understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance.

Qualification: Level 4 Network Engineer with a choice of Vendor Qualifications

Duration: 18 months

Off-the-job Training: 20% of contracted hours to be spent on off-the-job learning activities

Portfolio Work: Three comprehensive projects and three exams (including one Vendor qualification)

Content: Delivered through in-class and digital learning workshops and one-to-one coaching. Individualised learning guided through PluralSight content and community support

End Point Assessment: Synoptic Project & Final Remote Interview
