OPERATIONS / DEPARTMENTAL MANAGER – LEVEL 5

SUMMARY
An Operations/Departmental Manager Higher Apprentice manages teams and/or projects. Achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives, as part of the delivery of the organisations strategy.

Accountable to a more senior manager or business owner. Working in the private, public or voluntary sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities and job titles will vary. The knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same whatever the role.

The Operations/Departmental Manager Higher Apprenticeship focuses on improving efficiency and gaining a better understanding of team structure, while improving management techniques.

A range of resources are available to each Apprentice through our e-portfolio system, as well as varied assessment methods that not only make learning easier, but fun! The e-portfolio system is available 24/7 through Laptop, Mobile or Tablet. All assessment visits are tailored to each Apprentice, coupled with their own individual learning style.

Furthermore, the Apprenticeship features the principles and practices underpinning the core tasks and responsibilities related to their job role as well as wider work related knowledge.
