Social Services and Healthcare SVQ at SCQF Level 7

This SVQ is suitable for individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification or people who are employed in the health and social care sector in a supervisory role.

This qualification takes around 12 months to complete.
This Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) is awarded by SQA and consists of mandatory units and optional units. The range of optional units to choose from, enables the qualification to be tailored to meet both business requirements and the employees specific areas of development.

Mandatory units:

Promote effective communication
Promote health, safety and security in the work setting
Develop your practice through reflection and learning
Promote the safeguarding of Individuals

The learner will work towards building their evidence with full support being provided by Rewards throughout the qualification, visiting the workplace to meet with the learner. Progress will be reviewed at visits and we will seek the managers input and feedback as part of this.
