The course ensures that those responsible for lift installations and those performing release operations meet their legal obligations. Delegates will be assessed both practically and theoretically and competence-based certificates will be issued for successful delegates. It follows that those selected for training must be physically fit and should have received prior training in manual handling and should have expressed a willingness to undertake the training.
