Equality and Diversity

Do you understand and embrace equality? Do you demonstrate
diversity? Are you clear about the difference? Are you aware of
your legal obligations in the workplace? This workshop provides you
with clarity and an understanding of how to ensure that equality and
diversity become a consideration of both your behaviour and
decision making.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

 Identify what Equality & Diversity is
 Define Equality, Diversity and other related terms
 Identify the principles of the Equality Act 2010
 Identify the nine Protected Characteristics
 Identify the different types of discrimination
 Use appropriate language in the workplace
 Demonstrate improved, non-judgmental listening skills

Through a combination of discussion, exercises and scenario-based
guidance, this workshop is delivered as an interactive, engaging and
thought-provoking three hour session.
