Fire Marshal Training

The Fire Marshal training is in line with current legislation and covers both theoretical training including a video “Fire Marshal the front line of defence” and practical fire fighting. The following subjects will be covered, and the course culminates with a question paper.

Know the responsibilities of the Fire Marshal
Recognise active fire prevention measures
Know the fire triangle and how fires start
Know the actions to be taken in the event of a fire
Know the Fire Marshals role in the event of a fire
Selection and operation of the appropriate extinguisher
Successful candidates will receive a certificate outlining the objectives of the training day, practical fire fighting and date of issue.

All certification is serial numbered and a 3 year renewal date is implemented on completion of training.
