A Team Leader/Supervisor is a first line management role, with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals.

Working in the private, public or voluntary sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same whatever the role.

Key responsibilities may include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally.

Very skilled training specialists provide highly effective training, delivered in successful partnership with employers and which they relate to apprentices’ and employers’ priorities.

A range of resources are available to each Apprentice through our e-portfolio system, as well as varied assessment methods that not only make learning easier, but fun! The e-portfolio system is available 24/7 through Laptop, Mobile or Tablet. All assessment visits are tailored to each Apprentices own individual learning style.

The Apprenticeship features the principles and practices underpinning the core tasks and responsibilities related to their job role as well as wider work related knowledge.
