Erode East Assembly Election 2023 was held on 27th February 2023 in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was organized due to the death of Thirumagan Evera who was the Member of Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu . He died on 4th January 2023 at the age of 46 at his home in Erode district. The reason of his death was severe chest pains. Because of the sudden death of the Congress MLA Thirumahan Everaa this Erode East Election is performed in the state. Total number of 1.70 lakhs voters which is (74.79%) out of 2.27 lakhs voters voted in this election on 27th February 2023. Currently the counting of votes is going on at different centers of government with high security. The results will be announced today on 2nd March 2023. The counting of votes started at 8:00 am in the morning and according to the media it is expected that the results will out soon by 5:00 pm in the evening.

According to the latest reports, counting of votes for the Erode East Assembly constituency is still going on in the government counting centers with tight security. However as per the latest trend the congress party DMK The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is in the majority with over 11,000 votes.
