We have helped thousands of people to gain new skills, improve their performance and achieve their potential in our 50+ years existence. That’s approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 200 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Fork Lift Truck licences achieved each year. We recruit people who have spent their career in the workplace doing the job we want them to teach. We then turn them into tutors so they can pass on the skills they have honed over a lifetime to others. Learners have much more respect and trust in their tutor as they know they have actually done the job they are teaching. We also find that learners are more willing to tackle English and maths learning when they see the occupational application of the subject. All our development co-ordinators hold assessor qualifications in addition to their vocational qualifications.
Our sales team have blended experience from working on the shop floor to selling parts in dealerships. They are passionate about exploring complex issues and the demand that our clients face daily and strive to find a way to turn them into champions. Under the Job Gym brand we train people who are unemployed to gain employment in the logistics and contact centre sectors. Last year we supported around 1,400 unemployed learners with nearly 30% gaining a job as a result. Average achievement rates are over 83% for apprenticeships and 96% for pre-employment programmes. Mantra has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted with many exceptionally good and strong features, which confirmed the high standard of education we provide for our learners. We are also accredited to the Matrix standard. Mantra has first rate training facilities in Manchester, Stockport, St Helens and Warrington.
Our focus is on vocational training provided in specially adapted facilities that replicate the experiences our learners will encounter in the workplace.
